Beaver River Bridge : ウィキペディア英語版 | Beaver River Bridge
The Beaver River Bridge (also called "Beaver Valley Bridge") is a bridge that carries the Pennsylvania Turnpike across the Beaver River. Built in 1951 and opened in 1952, the 61-year-old bridge (as of 2012) is in the midst of being redesigned. According to Pennsylvania Turnpike's article on its bridges, the Beaver River Bridge is taller than the Delaware River Bridge on the PA Turnpike's eastern terminus. It is however shorter than the Mahoning River Bridge, which is a 1700 foot long span. The bridge is an example of a mid-20th Century cantilever deck truss with efforts to save it due to it becoming rare from demolitions. ==See also==
